"People always ask me why I write gross stuff...I tell them that I have the heart of a small boy and I keep it in a jar on my desk."
- Stephen King

This quote has stayed in my mind since the time I spotted it in a Reader's Digest issue. Made me think of the only work of the author that I have read - the old gypsy man's curse to make the sinner THINNER...King of Allegory in the shrouds of mystery...

Stephen King - Fantasy incorporated, with some real stuff in it. Chills and thoughts all the way.
The best: Shawshank Redemption and Rita Hayworth (short story).
Closely Follows: Green Mile, IT, The Shining

Movie - Shawshank Redemption is really 'awesome' - Bought both the CD and DVD of the same after becoming a total addict of it. Saw it 18 times till date :)

Wow, I had watched a hollywood movie based on SK's story 'Thinner' but I think it is the first time I had seen somebody write about this story. The movie was extremely good
